A solidarity walk against pediatric cancer
On Sunday, March 29, 2026, the very first solidarity walk “Les Pas d’Olivia” will take place in Nîmes, an event dedicated to the fight against pediatric cancer.
This march was born out of a deep need: to act, to come together, and to concretely support research against childhood cancers, which is still too often left without resources in the face of certain forms of the disease.
Why this walk?
Every year in France, nearly 2,500 children are diagnosed with cancer. Behind these figures lie lives turned upside down, families facing the unimaginable, and a harsh reality: 👉 Pediatric oncology research is desperately underfunded.
The Olivia's Steps walk was created to:
raising public awareness of pediatric cancer
to make the children and families concerned visible,
raising funds to support medical research,
transforming emotion into action.
Walking together means rejecting indifference and advancing hope.
A solidarity event, open to all
The walk is open to all: families, friends, children, associations, athletes, walkers…
Everyone can participate at their own pace, without any spirit of competition.

What will the donations be used for?
Donations collected during the walk and via the website will be entirely dedicated to supporting research against pediatric cancer.
They will notably allow us to:

to contribute to advancing scientific knowledge,
to offer new therapeutic perspectives to sick children.
